The next morning we took off for Springdale via Zion National Park. What a place! Here, we were joined by Bob Inglis and a number of other riders from the community. We had a great bike ride within Zion as a large crew. This is certainly one of the most beautiful places to ride bikes in the world!
That evening, we had a great little panel discussion with Bob Inglis sharing his conservative climate goals of bringing more folks from the Republican Party to working to save our climate, which is to say working to save ourselves, our planet, our only home. Bob is the Executive Director of the republicEn, an “EcoRight” organization that “stands together because we believe in the power of American free enterprise and innovation to solve climate change. Together, we encourage, embolden, and applaud conservative climate leadership.”

I love seeing the riders especially Mike and Helen, who live in this magnificent canyon . Zion Canyon is probably my favorite ride on earth. Feeling and seeing the beauty of this canyon kindles one’s desire for conservation. Stabilizing our climate will conserve not only the beautiful earth as we know it, but civilization in a way that it can flourish.
